A huge win would be if that eventually allows iTunes to auto-locate files moved across volumes.

Re: List Item ID

Ahh, they do look like renamed custom fields, which explains why -ASIN and ASIN both exist.

Re: DVD Pedia questions

Currently, only one Media format can be selected for each 'pedia entry. If you have DVD and Blu-ray media for a single title you'd need a unique DVDpedia entry for each one or have to use other metadata in a single entry to specify different media formats.

Re: Links and Titles

Indeed the link name is created during the linking process and not updated subsequently. It's a minor bug that will go away when we update the internal linking engine to be more relative, instead of piggybacking of the link URL that the pedias respond to and being treated like any other URL link th...

Re: List Item ID

I'm curious… why do a few items in the image have a hyphen prefix? I've never seen that before.

Re: DVDpedia Version 5.15; IMDB Reversed Credits

Here's a simple example of the IMDb credits snafu that happened updating Thor's entry with IMDb data (0800369) after adding it with Amazon US data (B0034G4P80) using DVDpedia 5.1.5: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/71730/DVDpedia/DVDpedia%20-%20Thor%20Credits.png Doing the same using DVDpedia Beta 45 (2-Apr...

Re: DVDpedia Version 5.15; IMDB Reversed Credits

I can send you examples of this when I've got database access again, after checking if the current beta (last updated 2-Apr) makes any difference (like beta 45 did for recent IMDb issues; I'm still running 5.1.5).

Re: Pocketpedia3

I would like to have some way to browse by cover. I was a little dissapointed when I tapped a cover, it filled the screen, but when I tried to slide it to the side it wouldn't go to the cover of the next film. Same here! Even though I don't want to flip through entries like this in all my collectio...

What about this:

Btw, is there any reference to the non-custom Tags field on Template Tags page? I only see key:customTag1 and key:customTag2.

? Thanks!

Re: DVDPedia: Does DVDPedia handle multiple titles?

Is there a way for DVDpedia to handle multiple copies of a single title, similar to how card catalog software works in a public library? Ideally each main record would hold the information that was the same for each copy (director, actor, cover art, description, star rating, genre, tags, etc) and e...

Re: Films vs physical media

Wow, I really appreciate your more thoroughly elaborating this topic that I started toying with at the end of my recent post … before seeing yours now. We must have tuned into the same wavelength around that time. :) I'd like my DVDpedia database usage to remain film/title-specific most of the time,...

Re: save full list of producers

Beta 21 should now pull in max 4 producers (when any of the extra options are checked) and all of them (actually max 20) with produced by checked. Starting with a new entry from IMDb for The Grey, beta 21 only downloads the first four producers (populating the Producers field) when any IMDb options...

Re: save full list of producers

Thank you SJK for the example I was able to test it against The Grey and update the plug-in to add all the producers in DVDpedia beta 20 . Doesn't seem to have any effect here, as described below. The last starring on the next line is a small rare bug that only appears for a few movies. < … useful ...
