With my book database of more than 4000 books, I reckon that the new format is slower to load than the old, but significantly faster to respond to any changes. I think the response speed was the reason for the change.

A few of my books are old enough that they have a 9 digit SBN rather than an ISBN. Does anyone know how to translate these?

I find it annoying in Bookpedia that when I show duplicates all books with identical titles show. I would prefer them not to show if they have different authors (and, preumably, a similar thing in CDPedia for different artists, and in DVDPedia for different movies with the same title). At the moment...

Which explains it. I guess I had never noticed that before.

There is, I think, a bug in the forum software (I have found the same situation with a forum for another program) in that the automatic login usually does not work, and one has to login manually.

Slight question. I note that when editing multiple books, as distinct from editing a single book, there is a checkbox by each field.

My guess is that this box needs to be checked in order for a multiple edit to occur. Is this correct? What happens if the box is not checked?

I am now using Bookpedia 4.0.

For me also, Option and the keyboard delete key gives a system beep.

On the other hand, Option and the delete button on the toolbar works fine.

Best thing to do, as one can't merge, is to link the multiple discs together.
