Re: CDpedia Artist Column in Library
That's not a bug, it's a feature. CDpedia tries to sort Artists on 'lastname' using a smart algorithm. In your example the artist ('Glorior Belli') is sorted by lastname ('Belli'). To toggle between sorting on lastname/firstname, hold down the 'option' key when clicking on the column to sort. This m...

Re: Amazon Killing Mobile Apps That Use Its Data
Can Pocketpedia still exist without the live Amazon interface? It's still valuable to me! As someone mentioned in this topic, it's not the ' live Amazon interface ' that's the problem. According to Amazon, it's illegal to sync data from your computer to your iPhone/iPod as it might contain data fro...

Re: Amazon Killing Mobile Apps That Use Its Data
Hi. Could you please give me an url where it's possible to address my 'remarks' to Amazon ? I don't know if a direct link will work, this way you'll find it: On Amazon.com: Click on 'help' (top right of the page) Click on the 'Contact Us' button on the right-hand side, below 'self-service tools' I'...

Re: IMDB advanced info still not working
Writing good documentation takes a lot of effort. A nice idea is the way 'CakePHP' (an open source framework for php developers) handles this; they've set up a documentation project that works like a 'wiki'. Many people contribute to the documentation, add examples etc. This way the documentation wi...

Re: Thoughts on Statistics page
Well, it's not on top of my priority list either, but I tend to write some ideas down now and then. If they get picked up it's nice, if not, also fine. Just trying to improve great software . Would be interesting to hear from other users if they have ideas on this one

Re: Amazon Killing Mobile Apps That Use Its Data
Erm, someone could help me with my message? I am willing to write to amazon.co.uk (where I am a regular customer), but my English especially in that kind of situation is... well... less than optimal. I decided to use 'zorglub's letter which covered my thoughts and translated it into English. Here's...

Re: How does the built in browser work?
As I have both Webkit and Safari on my computer, is it possible to switch what engine is used (i.e. use Webkit nightly in stead of Safari?)

Thoughts on Statistics page
I was looking at the 'statistics' feature of Pedia and have some thoughts on that; The statistics button in the toolbar has no 'state' (its not a toggle button), however, if I'm on the statistics page I cannot view my library until I click 'ok' to close it. Either make it a 'toggle' button (sunken w...

Re: BookPedia 4.5 bug in Wish List
That did the trick, it seems a glitch, as indeed, it already was excluded.if it's excluded already toggle it included then excluded again for good measure
Works like a charm now, I get my warning-message again like I used to. Thanks for the tip!

You all do a wonderful job! And if ever a paid upgrade is required (it amazes me that you don't charge for them), count me in!

Re: BookPedia 4.5 bug in Wish List
However the program ships with the wish list in excluded mode so deleting it from there removes it forever and you get a dialog saying it will be removed for ever. I think that's the problem then as I recall having seen those dialogs in the past. Ehm... how do I set the wish list to be in 'excluded...

@sjk
exactly my thoughts. Thanks to the Bruji team for all the effort they put into this. Any way I can be of help, I will
@Zorglub
That's a very nice written feedback to Amazon. I hope they'll listen to us... their customers, as good as Bruji does

Re: Search highlight
This might be something that is possible with the new Web Kit engine, so I will look into that. Thank you for the feedback. Have you seen the new 3D CSS transformations in Webkit? They're very impressive! Some impressive demo's to watch on the latest versions of Webkit on Leopard. These demo's are ...

Re: Custom fields data type
We got dates, check boxes and long fields like the comments on the to-do list. So many options and possibilities it is going to be tricky to integrate all that in the right way. Understandable! Whatever improvements get in, the Pedia's get better all the time. A bit off-topic; I'm always wondering ...

Re: Bigger Highlighting when in grid mode
I too never use shortcuts for switching views in iTunes. It's not a big issue for me, I just noticed the inconsistency between finder and 'Pedia. I'll leave it up to you
