Hi,
I updated to the new version and when I opened the application, all collections were gone. I don't appear to have a file named Database.bookpd to restore from. Any ideas? (MacBook Air)
Bookpedia update deleted collection
Re: Bookpedia update deleted collection
The program does not have the ability to delete it's own folder. But if yo are using a program like MacCleaner that deletes files, do look in your trash folder for the data folder from Bookpedia, including the Database.dvdpd.
To make sure that you are in the correct ~/Library/Application Support use the Finder Go menu and hold down the option key and then click the Library menu command. From there you will be able to enter TimeMachine for a restore, it would be in the same location in your backup if yo are using a cloning backup, such as SuperDuper! or cloud backup like BackBlaze. You can look at the size of the "Database.bookpd" file to determine when was the time that it was changed, you would want something in the megabytes range as the small 100k file would be the empty database file.
