Removing Blue Music Note

Post by witchkitten »

Is there any way of removing the Blue Music Note from CDPedia? I think I read somewhere in this forum that it's there to mark tracks available in the iTunes Music Store which isn't useful to me at all. Thanks in advance.

It shows the tracks that are also in your local iTunes library not the iTunes Music Stores. To turn it off go into the CDpedia preferences window and uncheck "Update iTunes track information (weekly)". Because the program has already gathered the current information remove it while CDpedia is not running. The file is in your home folder at ~/Library/Application Support/CDpedia/itunes.xml, delete this file.

Thank you, they're gone now. Thank you for explaining what it was and how to get rid of it. I had already turned off the the option in the preferences but when it didn't get rid of the music notes I thought it was related to something else.
