As mentioned in my previous post, these images in your database are corrupted:

3677.jpg
382.jpg
2766.jpg
3043.jpg
3418.jpg
5846.jpg

Please remove them from your Covers folder while DVDpedia is not running and email them to us. Then restart DVDpedia, download new covers for those entries and try the sync again.

I have erased the jpg files but all are the same.

Now I haven´t log in Console.

Hi Carpanta,

I have uploaded the beta version 11 again that will print out the name of the cover before scaling it for the iPhone. This way you will be able to find any left over of the trouble images that are not syncing. If you do run into any more of them, do please send them to us via email so that we can find out what the issue with the original image is.

Hi Conors, really I am very confused with this problem.

I mean, I'm syncing and each time a different image hangs on and is independent of the clear or not, always hangs

For example, I see on the screen image 350 of 4987 calling, then hangs and corresponds to the number 1040 of the collection, no matter where you delete or not delete, when I start again for asking then synchronize image into another number (always less than 700) and another collection number higher than the previous one.

I have about 2000 pictures a custom that I had never problems until a couple of weeks.

Now dvdpedia don't work, when I execute it then close.

The good news is that Pocketpedia should remember the last images synced. If you cancel and then restart the sync does it not pick up from a new section of images. With the beta I even changed the way the images to be transferred without compression to see if it was something with the compression, but as mentioned in the email I think it's closely linked to some kind go issue with the graphic card on your machine. All the logs so far have been crashing deep into the image rendering code provided by Apple. So deep that even Google has no results on the functions being used. If you can get the new beta to launched as mentioned in the email do send me the console log as well after trying several times just to make sure the problem persist in the same are and that way I can also compare the image names being printed out to make sure it's independent of the actual image.

Try the DVDpedia beta 18 please and let us know if that makes a difference to the sync.

Conor mentioned Beta 19 of DVDpedia yesterday. Darn those pesky beta version numbers.

Beta 19 don't resolve the problem, also ever time I want syncronize my ipad/iphone Dvdpedia alert whith the message Is the first time you syncronize your device and must autorizhe it.

Thank you for testing it. The alert is due to some missing information that PP2 does not contain, the beta expects PP3 (that is in testing) although it is compatible with PP2 with the alert. I believe the issue with the sync is with Lion and your graphic card or some other graphic code that is loaded as the program works in safe mode, which eliminates DVDpedia as the source of the issue.

I used to work perfectly in Lion.
