A good bug report helps us track down problems much faster. But what makes a bug report good? Here are a few points to keep in mind when telling us about a problem:

• Is the problem repeatable? If so, try and give us a step-by-step account of what you do just before the problem comes up, so we can try and repeat it.
• Include the OS X version you are running.
• If the program crashes as a result of the bug, include the crash report in your email. If you already closed the crash reporter, you can find it again in User/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/[application name].crash.log
• Also have a look in your console log, see if there are any messages from the application. You can access the console log by running the Console application that is located in Applications/Utilities/Console. The newer messages are towards the bottom of the log.
