I have a 2014 MBPro running 11.7.2 and a DVDPedia library of about 10,000 Titles with pretty big cover art and have never had any issues having it back up ... if that's any encouragement

Are you sure you don't have your search range to be for something besides "Title" when searching for a title? In other words the search box isn't set to search "artists", or something. I space that one out from time to time

I just noticed I don't get any actors unless I check "Complete Actors" in IMDb Prefs. I do get composer, cin, ed, as checked in Prefs. I'm still basically good except for that. Seems it started a few weeks ago according to a "Date Added" sort, if that helps

Can I just quit DVDPedia and go to my Application Support->DVDPedia Folder and double-click one of the backups? Have a look for a collection I deleted, export it if it's there, then quit DVDPedia and double click the Database.dvdpd file and be back to where I was as if I never opened one the backups?
