Re: Merge two records on CDpedia
Hi and welcome to these forums.
In answer to your question, there really isn't a built in 'merge' function in the pedia's per se. Over the years this has been suggested and it has been on the to do list.
Have a look at this topic: Re: Bookpedia suggestions and Conors' work-around.

Re: transferring database to new iMac
1 - Download and Install onto your new mac the latest versions from here: Pedia's Beta . Now fire them up one by one. When you first fire up a new install it will automatically create the below, so you now need to overwrite these Folders and files with all your existing folders and files from your o...

Re: DVDpedia: Changing suffix of linked movie files
One thing I do not like about DVDpedia is when you drag and drop a digital media file into the Links > URL secion, like mkv or mp4, it moves that file from its current location into a QuickTime folder within /Application Support/DVDpedia. You can switch that off: Oh Dear - DOH !  :oops...

Re: DVDpedia: Changing suffix of linked movie files
Thanks for explaining it more and for finding that quite old post of March 2011. search and replace in entire database So I suppose in your case the sqlite3 script would read: sqlite3 ~/Library/Application\ Support/DVDpedia/Database.dvdpd update zlink set zURL = replace(zURL, '.webm', '.mkv'); .exit...

Re: DVDpedia: Changing suffix of linked movie files
I doubt it as each entry of .webm is preceded with the the film title.
Conor could properly give you an outside script to do it.

Re: Search by category
Hi and welcome to these great Pedia forums. I have deleted your duplicate post. The best practice is to organise your book library by downloading and installing the desktop/laptop version of Bookpedia first. The trial version allows 25 entries. Have an extensive play. The pedia's are very customisab...
