Re: DVDpedia suddenly became unregistered
Thanks for posting this. Same just happened to me with Bookpedia. Closing down reset it.

Re: DVDpedia: IMDB not loading all tags
Certainly IMDB has changed how it interfaces with tags (keywords). I love tags and use them extensively. Since IMDB's shift, I've simply changed my workflow when entering data. It used to be that DVDPedia imported all tags (keywords) and I'd then go through them all, deleting most, then alphabetisin...

Re: Pocketpedia:New Search?
Having very large collections, I have smart folders that hold my favourite genres. Since they are multitudinous I house them in a folder called 'Genre'. I certainly find this useful to speed up searches for titles on the move.

Cdpedia Dogtags
Hi Team Bruji
Not sure if this is intentional or a bug, but I'm adding a bunch of stuff to CDpedia and each time I add one the dogtag is jumping in increments of 10. (130071 /130081/ 130091 / 130101 etc). Thought it worth a heads up.

Re: IOS 7
Working fine for me so far, sync wheel aside. Searching is swift as always.

Statistics View
Dear Bruji I adore the Statistics View and like to watch how certain values rise and fall as the collection expands. Visualisation of data is getting more and more interesting these days and can increasingly help us comprehend our information. However, the Statistics bar charts in the Pedias are ver...

Re: Clearing unused data
Hey Conor Can you tell us exactly what occurs with the 'rebuild' function? I've always been terrified to use it, thinking it might do damage to my data, I have hundreds of unique entries in fields and I'm scared to mechanize any fixes, thus I've always done as Nora suggests above. If I knew exactly ...

Re: How to rename an entry "Eigenes Feld 1"
The custom fields are great and offer all manner of potential uses. However, I don't need a seen/not seen [gesehen/nicht gesehen] tick box. Every time a film is viewed it gets a date entry in the 'Last Seen' field and an entry in the 'Play Count' I have a Smart Collection which holds all the films t...

Re: BPM for tracks
If, like me, you use CDPedia to catalogue your vinyl 12" collection - you could use a custom field for BPM.

Just a quick note saying how much I'm loving Pocketpedia3 - although I've been enjoying the iphone version some time, the ipad version is sweet! I can't believe how useful I'm finding having the databases on all platforms.

Re: Films vs physical media
Hero is problematic film to date in terms of release. Miramax owned the rights in the US and famously (in the industry at least) sat on the film for 2 years while deciding what to do with it. One might argue this delay was design i.e. they knew Kill Bill was in production and wanted to piggy-back t...
