I too like the original artwork much more than the ones they produce for DVDs... with gigantic faces of the stars in the foreground. Therefore Wikipedia has become my artwork source of choice.

I try Google Image as well. Or allposters.com. However, they can bring up a lot of false results and I was thinking in terms of a plug-in for the Pedias.

Movie Artwork in DVDpedia and Wikipedia support!

I hate it when my artworks a) don't match or b) show some DVD cover shot or mock-up and not the original movie poster. I have stopped using the "download cover art for selection" function for this very reason. I assume the function, though it is stated nowhere, does retrieve artwork from A...

The custom fields are great... however, not every one does warrant an entry in the statistics window. Please add a checkbox next to each custom field setting to indicate whether statistics for this field should be generated.

Selling DVDs in DVDpedia?

Is there any logic behind the fact that I can sell books through Amazon et al and track the ones put on sale from within Bookpedia but I cannot sell (nor put on sale) a DVD within DVDpedia???

Updating Amazon Marketplace Listing

I'm just going through the relisting process of all the books I have on sale at Amazon Marketplace and thought how great it would be if I could do this from within the Pedias.

Currency Mess

I remember posting about this issue before when the Pedias were at version 2... it might have been dropped or lost, so here we go again, especially as the issue has somewhat gotten out of hand with the new statistics in the new Pedias: these apps need proper support for currencies! I have all kind o...

I understand that the artwork comes from Amazon, but these are different from country to country. At times, the same title may have a photographed boxed set on one site and the original artwork at another site. Not to speak of country specific artworks such as Germany and France. Thing is, I’d like ...

Artwork Selection

When downloading cover art for a selection DVDpedia just pulls the first possible solution from the Internet. Don’t even know from what source... but the fact is that sometimes these artworks are collections, packages, or really ugly product shots. Wouldn’t it be great to have a small window with po...

I always found the value bit pretty useless. Tell you why: I have an eclectic library of DVDs, which I have bought throughout Europe and beyond. Because the list price is taken from the source site, i.e. Amazon.fr or Amazon.de or Amazon.co.uk and so forth, the currency is constantly different. The v...

What I REALLY want DVDpedia to do: browsing!!

I want: a browser window similar to iTunes where I can select an actor/director/genre and get all matches within my database. I’ve posted this last year when I registered, but unfortunately the feature is still not implemented.
