You're not seeing ghosts - the iSight code in the Pedias has indeed been changed to black and white. We're upgrading the code right now to work with the new MacBook Pro iSights. They have a different resolution and ratio so we have to update our code accordingly. Hi Nora, Ok, I'm just glad to know ...

iSight in black and white in Pedias
This may sound very strange, but after downloading the most recent version of DVDpedia and CDpedia today (Wednesday, July 18), the iSight window from my built-in camera in my MacBook Pro is in black and white instead of color when I attempt to add a title through the *pedia app. It's still in color ...

coverart duplication issue
As a follow-up to item #4) in my previous message -- albums getting imported with the wrong coverart -- I haven't found a solution, but I've found the problem. It happens when an album has tracks on it with the same song names as an existing album. Using my Journey album example from before, the thr...

Audiofile import
Hi Conor, Regarding getting my collection out of MyMusic and into CDpedia, I just remembered that the reason I used MyMusic in the first place was that I needed a new application when OS X came around. Prior to that, I was using an app called Audiofile which never made it out of OS 9. I actually hav...

CDpedia stuff: iTunes integration, track length, updating
After working with CDpedia for a while, I have several questions. Some may be feature requests, others may be answered by documentation I didn't come across in the Help or Forums. 1) Is there a way to retrieve track lengths (and ultimately CD length) from a barcode scan or keyword search? I've only ...

Conor, thanks. I have heard through the internet grapevine that support for the *pedias is excellent, and you do not disappoint. I have now successfully converted my DVDAttache library into DVDpedia, and purchased my license codes for DVDpedia and CDpedia. The check is in the mail, as they say. :D I...

Importing large collections from other CD/DVD organizers
Hi all, I am considering purchasing the CD and DVD apps to catalog my collections. Currently, I'm using MyMusic for my CDs, which is now defunct, and DVDAttache for my DVDs, which as a freeware app is fine but limited in support and is frequently flaky in performance. My first attempt at exporting m...
