Re: FancyIndex: Seeking template feedback
Hi, i'am very impressed by the fancy index theme and i would be happy if i could give it a try. great work you've done. is there a way to choose own fields in the list and in the details view? best level.five It should be just as customizable as any other template. You would just select it and choo...

Re: FancyIndex: Seeking template feedback
Funny you should mention that, actually. I just wrapped up my first go at the DVDpedia version - you can see the resulting page: http://www.twoevils.org/html/mydvds/ I also have an updated version of the Gamepedia template, and you can see its output here: http://www.twoevils.org/html/mygames/ Sorry...

Re: Template key for format
Otherwise, if you're trying to get widescreen versus pan-n-scan or the like, use key:pictureFormat instead of key:pictureformat. Seems somewhat user-unfriendly to me that the keys are case-sensitive, but that's just how they work. Once you get used to it, you're used to it. :) As far as I know, all ...

Re: Template key for format
If you're thinking of DVD or Blu-Ray or whatever, there is [key:media], which the upcoming version of FancyIndex/DVDpedia uses.

Re: Paperclip in the "Status" column
I think that means you have a URL or file linked to an entry. Edit -> Edit DVD/Game -> Links should be where it is.

Re: DVDpedia putting 2nd DVD Player in dock
Actually, if I drag that second copy over into the persistent area, I end up with two copies of DVD Player.app in my Dock. Here is the .plist for it: Converted Binary PList: { autohide = 1; launchanim = 1; "mod-count" = 329; "no-glass" = 0; "persistent-apps" = ( { GUID ...

Re: DVDpedia putting 2nd DVD Player in dock
@Ted: If you're willing to go back to a "factory default" dock, you can delete the following files from your ~/Library/Preferences/ folder (in your home directory): com.apple.dock.db com.apple.dock.plist And see if that fixes your issue. Of course, you'll be back to a standard dock, which ...

Re: DVDpedia putting 2nd DVD Player in dock
Okay, I managed to replicate the issue, but the process involved with doing it is pretty complicated. 1) Remove DVD Player from the dock 2) Launch DVDpedia 3) Go to full screen, play the VIDEO_TS file 4) Hit escape to exit full screen mode, and while movie is playing, drag DVD Player icon to permane...

Re: DVDpedia putting 2nd DVD Player in dock
I always end up converting my DVDs to H.264 MP4 files... let me rip a DVD and test it out to see if I can replicate it.

Re: DVDpedia putting 2nd DVD Player in dock
If you right-click on the icons, go to Options, and choose Show in Finder, do they end up pointing at the same DVD Player application?

Re: FancyIndex: Seeking template feedback
Still working on the DVDpedia template - it's a bit difficult because my HTML editing program likes to overwrite hard links >_<. But, you can see the results of Conor's changes with the coverImageHeight and coverImageWidth tags: http://www.twoevils.org/html/mygames/ The window should be properly siz...

Re: dvdpedia with multiple osx accounts
You could try this? Bring up Terminal.app for the user who doesn't have the DVDpedia account cd Library/Application\ Support/ ln -s ~otheraccountname/Library/Application\ Support/DVDpedia DVDpedia That should probably keep things mirrored between you two. I haven't tried it, though. Replace "ot...

Re: Collections Text Count Font Size
Why would the font size need to differ based on the number of items in a collection? Mail.app uses the same size font whether a mailbox has 5, 25, 725, or 10000 unread messages. Higher numbers should only make the bubble wider - I don't see why it should affect the bubble's height and font size.

Re: Additional export options/keys
Awesome! That's working *perfectly*. The colorbox now pops up immediately, and at exactly the right size.
Still got a few more changes to make due to this and I'll get a new version of the template up. Woo!
