margit,

You really don't need this page to see how cheap they are: but what about elastic bands around the ones you haven't marked?

That way you won't use them until you have, either :-)

Good luck!

Conor,

I thought that might be the case: I do program (though not (yet?) much beyond simple AppleScript on Mac) so I'd certainly like to take a look and see whether it's within my reach. Thanks!

CDPedia plug-in for ArkivMusic

Does anyone else here use ArkivMusic for their classical CD searches and purchses? It's an excellent, comprehensive and efficient site; I'd like to be able to integrate its usually near-faultless database with CDPedia . Would someone give me a pointer to a CDPedia plug-in and or be interested in wri...

teacher24_70, nstead of having the date read being a "one-day" only input--i.e, September 9, 2006, I'd like to be able to input a span of dates--i.e., September 6, 2006-September 9, 2006. Once you've input the dates - into the 'Last Read' field, you could create a Smart Collection where th...

Thanks!

Conor,

Thanks a lot. That's very helpful. I imagined it'd be something like that.

Shall think of a use for them and make the most.

Good luck with this wonderful program.

Thanks - still in the dark

live4ever,

Thanks! So are links in general meant for files on your local machine?

Or to web pages; other files? Other items in the BookPedia database?

Does one link go to one record? How is it attached there? Unattached?

Can it be any media?

I guess I thought I knew but can't find docs. on it.

BookPedia Links

I've been using the fabulous BookPedia 3 for several months now and realize I don't really know what 'Links' are and how I can use them.

Is there an entry on Links anywhere in an FAQ or the Help file (I can't find one), please?

TIA!

I chiefly use mine to track where books are in the long trek from wishlist to 'read'. I have fields defined for: wish (to replace the inbuilt one) 'Cart' (ready to buy) On Order then a series of rankings reflecting whether the book is high priority in my current reading, 'continuing' (poetry volumes...

CDPedia, support for BMG-format barcodes

Sony Bertelsmann is one of the world's (believe it or not: BMG a very quiet company!) distributors.

They use very non-standard barcodes.

Support for them in a future version would be great! Thanks :-)

Hi Conor, Have been working with BookPedia nearly all day - wonderful! I just keep finding new and useful features. Thanks. What I'm asking for would be even more helpful for those times I want to 'Get Advanced for Selection' and I already have fields (eg my own way of describing 'Subjects') in use....

BookPedia Selective web/update information

New user still getting used to the wonders of Bruji and Bookpedia ; thanks! I really don't need Amazon (etc) customer star ratings. Although I have set my View Columns not to show 'My Ratings' etc, it'd be nice to be able to filter out those when downloading a book's details from an Amazon URL. TIA!
