Export to iPod
I've tried to use the export to iPod before, but always found that my notes got "truncated" due to the 4K note limit. Even when I used the sorted templates, the notes still truncated and left off portions of the information. I just tried getting around that a little by exporting as a text ...

removing quotation marks from old import
At one point, when I first started using Bookpedia, I imported a tab-delimited file from Word. When it imported the authors, it placed the author names in quotation marks. So, when I sort by author, all of the quotation marked authors are listed first. Is there a quick, easy way to remove these quot...

Collapsible folders for collection listn (Bookpedia)
My collections list can get quite long. I like the way that you can create folders in iTunes and then place playlists in it. The folder can then be collapsed to save space. I seem to remember hearing this suggested for the Pedias. Is it still on the list for possible new features? Just curious.

Here's a couple that I found in the console--it's all Greek to me. None of them seem related to my copy/paste issue, but I could be wrong. 2007-06-30 01:30:31.470 Bookpedia[877] Amazon Search Error: AWS.InvalidParameterValue = 0440831709 is not a valid value for ItemId. Paste got "stuck"
Weirdest thing just happened. Somehow the paste function got stuck. I had copied one cell (table view) and pasted into another. I couldn't get that cell deselected. I tried clicking in a different cell and it simply pasted the copy in again. Ended up with 4-5 pastes of the same thing in unintentiona...

I'll try downloading again to make sure that I have the newest version. It didn't open and say that there was a newer version, but I know that you both do a lot of silent updates (which are great for us!). I bet that I just forget to hit paste, paste, paste, paste, instead of copy, paste, copy, past...

I think I've got the # worked out--just had to enter the # that I wanted the NEXT book to have. This will work until I have to do a copy/paste for a duplicate book--this will break the numbering system again and I'll have to back up to the preference and change the # again. Maybe we could add a feat...

Noticed something else--not sure if this is able to fix itself intuitively. If I have to manually correct a collection ID that (as described in previous post), then the next auto-increment is off by 2--since it's still going by the built-in incorrect #. If I manually correct another, the next add is...

I just found that before you replied. However, I'm still having one problem. It's adding the number one off from where it should. The last book that I added should have been 1548, it used 1547. I must have used the wrong # when I set it up--maybe using the number for the current book instead of what...

Incremental Collection ID
It's been awhile since I visited the forums, but I remember that one feature requested was for the Collection ID to increase automatically when adding a new book. I now notice that when I add a new book, the field is filled in as "1" instead of being blank as it used to be. Does this mean ...

Re: Smart Collections AND Exclude Collection From Library
Ok, So here how I am doing things right now. I have my Library, and a few (mostly smart) inclusive collections I have used to organize it. I have an Exclusive collection I've named "Borrowing", where I add/delete books that I' am borrowing form someone. When I view the default special &qu...
