Reusing Checkbox fields

Postby kaizmoto1489 » Mon May 24, 2021 10:17 pm

Hi everyone,
I am making a basic software.
Is it possible to repurpose the Checkbox fields "Sold" / "On Sale" and give them my own names someway to get under the hood and change the names?
Thanks in advance!!!

No not really.

You could use the Custom fields that is what they are designed for. Preferences > Fields

If you run out of custom fields and are reusing the "sold" and "on sale", you can use the localization file to change the names. You will find it inside the program by control clicking on Bookpedia and selecting "Show Package Contents". navigate to Resources/en/RealTitles.string. Open in any text editor and change the right hand side to change names. Make a copy of the file after changing, as after an update it would be changed back.
