A really cool feature would be the ability to pull the technical information about a linked file (I'm thinking particularly of DVDPEDIA here) and have it become part of the entry for that movie. For example, when i link gremlins.avi to my gremlins entry in dvdpedia, have dvdpedia examine the file to determine things like resolution, video and audio codec used, bitrate, etc etc. VLC does this automatically when you mouse over a video file while in windows,and i know the .mp4 muxing program yam uses something called mediainfo.dll to determine this info, but it would be a really cool bonus feature for someone like me.
