One single PEDIA ?

Well, they wouldn't have to be in the same database or the same file or whatever. As long as they would be accesible in the user interface as a unity, the technical level of merging can be left up to the programmers.

For accessibility, use the AmazonPedia widget. It allows you access to all the Pedias at once without having to the open the programs.
Spotlight is also a quick way to search for an entry. If you add 'PediaItem' before the search then Spotlight will only search within the Pedias so that'll speed things up too.
