I did several syncs with pocketpedia and everything was fine. Next day I used pocketpedia normally then later in the day I restarted pocketpedia and it was blank, nothing, all 12,000 records gone. Desktop is fine. Mac Leopard & iPhone iOS 9.
I tried restore, import, backup. Nothing has worked.
Help!
Thanks, Jed

Does it load to an empty database? Can you manually add a Pedia in Pocketpedia or is it locked up? If the second could you send me your database. You will find the database in your data folder located in your home folder at ~/Library/Application Support/CDpedia/Database.cdpd. Use the Finder "Go" menu and hold down the option key and select the "Library" option. Once there navigate to Application Support/CDpedia and select Database.cdpd and use the "Compress" command under the main "File" menu. This will create a .zip version that you can then attach to an email message. With luck I can replicate the issue with Pocketpedia and fix the bug.

Do try deleting Pocketpedia and downloading again from the App Store.

Thanks for reply.
I only have DVDpedia. When Pocketpedia shows up blank suddenly, I can add a collection or a movie.
I have been able to restore successfully. This has happened occasionally though out several years.
I don't think the database file is better ny deleted, just that pocketpedia doesn't "see" the database (iPhone only, desktop if fine).
In the passed when I deleted a movie on the phone, pocketpedia has crashed and then is blank after restarting pocketpedia. I don't delete movies from the phone anymore.
As I've said everything can be fine then next time I open pocketpedia it might be blank. Pocketpedia doesn't do this while I am viewing pocketpedia.
I love your program & thank you,
Jed

Thank you for the extra detail. Does sound like the database gets broken on a delete. I shall try to replicate it and get it fixed. If it does happen again, do try to get me the console log from the iPhone or the crash. The crashes should be in your Mac under ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/. Hold down the option key and click on the Finder "Go" menu and then select "Library". Navigate to the above path and then select your device name and find any files that start with Pocketpedia. it might have info of the actual crash that leads to then the database not being able to be read.
