New to CDpedia and the whole database thing. Can't seem to wrap my head around the tags concept. Could somebody give me, or direct me to an entry-level explanation of what they are and how best to use them.

There are an extra field to keep associated keywords with an album. They help for internal searches, when you want to add an attribute to a couple of albums. In truth they are not as used with albums as they would be with movies or books. In the case of movies for example, they would be elements in the movie, such as locations or themes. So that you can find all the movies with shots of the Sahara.
